Bowl Food Social Evening

Clive Gawlik - chef extraordinaire and expert in all things piscatorial - has devised a tasting menu of some of his favourite dishes for you to try. Join us in the Engine Room for a night of fun and good food. Always fancied trying oysters?  Well, now you can, in the safe knowledge that there are plenty of other choices if they are not to your liking.  Clive and Emma will be available to chat to you about how to chose and prepare them, what to look for when you shop for fish and how to cook some of the yummy dishes they are serving for you to enjoy.

This is a very informal occasion with friendly people so perfect if you want to go out to eat on your own. You will have a fantstic meal and possibly make some new friends.

James and I will be on hand to welcome you with a glass of fizz and the Loose Box will be serving some specially selected wines to complement the meal.

Wild food is an exciting new trend in eating.  Ingredients are plucked from lawns, picked from hedgerows and gathered from meadows to be fashioned - in this instance - into sophisticated culinary delights. Come and sample some bona fide wild food created by Ben Spice and Kerry Woodfield.
