Barton Court

Barton Court is a small country house estate, made up up of the main house and several interesting outbuildings set in 6 acres of gardens.  The property sits on the edge of the village of Colwall and has uninterrupted views of the glorious countryside that surrounds it.

The main house, the Clock Tower and the ancillary buildings can be rented for short breaks, weddings and events, altogether, in various combinations or separately.

Barton Court is very easy to get to.  There is a station in the village, just a mile away with direct services to both London and Birmingham.  The motorway network is just 3 miles distant so the property is secluded but not isolated.

The village has a couple of shops, a Post Office, 2 pubs and a coffee house.  Ledbury and Malvern are the nearest towns offering very different experiences.  Ledbury is an old market town.  It has some interesting specialist shops, majoring on food and design.  Malvern has an excellent theatre where London productions are tired out first; lots of mainstream shopping and plenty of restaurants.  To the north is the county town of Hereford and, since we sit on the cusp of three counties, the delights of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire are within easy reach, too.

The Kitchen

It has everything that a couple [with their dog] could need:  a cosy sitting room with a log burner;  a comfortable bedroom with lovely views;  a well equipped kitchen and a good shower room.  There is even a second loo, an enclosed dog run and a little patio area.
